234 teams have signed up for the 14th edition of the Sinulog Football Cup, a three-day tournament that will be played at the Dynamic Herb Stadium and the Paref Springdale football fields.
The Boys U13 division has the most number of entries with 36 teams, while the Mix U11 and Boys U15 have 32 and 31 entries, respectively. The Men’s Open also attracted a great deal of interest with 28 teams signing up, while the Boys 17 Division has 25 teams.
The other categories and number of entries in the annual tournament are Mix U9 (22), Mix U7 (11), Ladies Open (9), Boys U19 (7), Men’s 40-Above (6), Soccer Moms (6), Men’s Inter-Company, 5, Men’s 32-Above (5), Girls U19 (4), and the Men’s 50-above (3.)
On Friday, the Men’s 32-Above, Boys U19 will be played at the Dynamic Herb Sports stadium, while on Saturday, it will be the turn of the Players 9, Players 7, Girls 19, and Girls 15 at Springdale, while the Players 11, Players 13, Boys 17, and the Men’s 50-Above will be played at the Dynamic Herb Stadium.
On Sunday, Dynamic Herb will host the Boys 15, Soccer Moms, Men’s Inter-Company, Ladies Open, 40-Above, and Boys 15 divisions.
