CEBU United FC and the Cebu Football Club Academy bagged two titles each in the youth divisions of the just concluded Erco Samareno Football Club held over two weekends at the Dynamic Herb Football Stadium.
Cebu United FC ruled the Boys 17 and Mixed U9 divisions, while CFC Academy took the Girls 15, and 17-Under titles.
Cebu United FC defeated University of San Jose-Recoletos for the Boys 17 crown, and MFC Cebu Blue for the U9 crown.
On the other hand, Cebu FC bested Cebu United FC, 3-2, in the U7 finals after beating MFC Blue 4-3 in the semis and Corona del Mar, 1-0, in the quarterfinals. The hosts added a second title in the Girls 15 division after beating MFC Cebu for the title.
In the U11, Corona del Mar FC, which beat Giuseppe FC 2-1 in the semis and USC-BED 2-0 in the quarterfinals, blanked Real Galaxy 2-0 to win the title.
In the Boys 15 Division, BAST outlasted Don Bosco Cebu FC B, 3-1, for the title, after ousting Giuseppe FC, 2-1, in the semis and KNF Boys Home Liloan, 1-0, in the quarterfinals.
In the 19-Under Division, Abellana National School won the Boys crown over San Roque, 1-0, while Giuseppe FC got the title after finishing the double-round robin with eight points thanks to its twin 1-0 wins over Lapu-Lapu City Heroes FC.
In the Open Divisions, Cebu Urduja survived a high scoring final against Celaros FC, 5-4, while Purexfit FC had a narrow 1-o win over Pink Heaving for the men’s crown.
Commerce FC took home the Men’s Professionals title after tallying 16 points on a 5-1 record, beating Sytanx Error FC B (13 points), while Rongcales Futbolitos FC A beat sister team Rongalces Futbalitos B for the 38-Above title via goal difference after both finished with a 5-1 record.
Team A scored 10 goals and conceded only once, while Team B scored eight times while allowing two goals to finish at second place.
There was no need for a tiebreak in the 48-Above division as Erco FC ran away with the crown after tallying 16 points on a 5-1 record, while Class FC B settled for second with 10 points on two wins and four draws.
In the Soccer Moms Division, Lapu-Lapu City Heroes FC took home the title after beating LA Horse Football Moms, 3-1.
