DBTC A hits lucky 13 against CFC Academy in PFF U16 qualifiers

DARL Matthew Pantinople and Mikhael Lukas Pazon showed up with their golden boots as Don Bosco Technological Center A handed Cebu Football Club Academy its breakfast, lunch, dinner, and then some, 13-0, in the Cebu Regional Football Association local qualifiers for the PFF National U16 tournament.

After Chez Mosqueda scored twice in the second and 14th minutes, Pantinople and and Pazon had a tag-team of sorts, alternating as they scored four goals each between the 27th and 86th minutes.

Anthony James Abarquez and Jahred Rain Padriga added one each in the second and third minutes of injury time before Pantinople said good bye to CFC with the final goal four minutes into added time.

On the other hand, DBTC-B suffered a contrasting fate as it saw itself on the wrong end of a 5-0 rout, courtesy of the Abellana National School.

Ayn Sebastian Quidlat had a brace in the 15th and 38th minutes before John Michael Paningsuor scored twice in two minutes in the 56th and 58th.

Xavier Gabriel Culob added the final goal in the 74th minute.

Meanwhile, DBTC A will go for its second win against the debuting Sacred Heart School-Ateneo de Cebu on Saturday, before finishing its group stage campaign against Don Bosco Boys Home on Sunday.

Also on Saturday, the University of San Carlos will make its debut against BAST before taking on ANS on Sunday.
