CRFA conducts futsal seminar at Cebu City Jail for 2nd straight year

THE Cebu Regional Football Association conducted another futsal seminar, but this time with a different target audience–Persons Deprived of Liberties and Bureau of Jail and Management of the Philippines personnel.

For the second straight year, the CRFA held a Philippine Football Federation Basic Futsal Referees Course inside the male dormitory of the Cebu City Jail Male Dormitory last Oct. 6 to 8.

The seminar was led by Dave Intong, the futsal instructor of the CRFA who was assisted by Randy Estremos, the head of the CRFA referees committee.

The Male Dormitory of the Cebu City Jail has an active futsal program and last April, it was the first jail in the country to conduct a one-day futsal tournament hosted by JSUpt. Gregorio C. Acacio, which was participated by six teams, including two manned by PDLs and one from the jail officers.
