NORFA kicks off 2026 with License C seminar

BARELY a week into the new year, the Negros Occidental Regional Football Association isn’t slowing down and will be holding a series of activities for its community, highlighted by a Philippine Football Federation C Diploma Coaching Course.

Norfa, one of the most active Regional Football Associations in the PFF, announced the staging of the 1st Downton FC Football Derby on Jan. 17 and 18 at the Christopher Estate Football Field and Ayala North Football Field. The two day festival will have 16 divisions, from the 2018 Mix up to the Men’s and Ladies Open as well as the Men’s 40 and 50-above.

” NORFA is officially kicking off the year with a series of licensing programs, seminars, and workshops for Coaches, Referees, and Local Organizing Committees (LOC)!We are committed to raising the standard of football in the region, starting with the prestigious PFF “C” Diploma Coaching Course,” Norfa announced on its Facebook page.

The Theory Phase will be on Jan. 12 to 16, while the Practical Phase will be on Feb. 2 and 6.

Aside from the two events, Norfa will also hold mandatory fitness evaluation and seminar for its current crop of referees and will also hold a recruitment drive to increase their referee pool.
