THE Cebu Regional Football Association nailed its first win in the Visayas eliminations of the Philippine Football Federation U16 tournament in San Carlos City on Jan. 20, 2026.

After an opening day draw with Negros Oriental-Siquijor RFA, the Don Bosco Boys Home-Liloan manned CRFA finally earned three points thanks to the late game heroics of Gabriel Quidlat against the Eastern Visayas RFA.
After eluding one defender, Quidlat blasted the ball past the keeper in the 85th minute for CRFA’s first win in two games for joint second in the tournament.
Host Negros Occidental RFA is first with six points, while the Iloilo Guimaras RFA is fourth with three points.
The Eastern Visayas RFA is last after losing all its matches so far.
On Jan. 21, the CRFA will shoot for its second win against IGRFA before closing out its group stage campaign against the host on Friday.
