The 26th Aboitiz Football Cup will kick off its new season with a festival format for the Players 6, 8 and 10 division on July 25 and 26 at the Dynamic Herb Sports Stadium.
The festival, designed to give players more opportunities to develop their skills while enjoying the game, will follow the eight-a-side format, and will also adopt simplified rules, with no offside and no playdown, allowing young athletes to focus on teamwork, creativity, and ball possession.
After the festival, the regular tournament for the Men’s Open Divisions 1 and 2, and Boys 18 and 16 will follow, with the Cebu Regional Football Association adopting the one-month residency requirement for the Boys 18 and 16 Divisions.
