The Arkiteks United ended its campaign in the Aboitiz Football Cup Division 2 on a strong note with an 8-0 rout of SportsGen International on sept. 27, 2026 at the Dynamic Herb-Borromeo Sports Complex.
Playing its first 11-a-side tournament in 15 years, the Arkiteks United, coached by former Azkals midfielder Arnie Pasinabo and Mikel Bonjoc, finished fourth in the tournament with six points on a 2-0-4 record.
They opened their campaign with a 3-1 win over Magone FC, before losing to UP Cebu, 7-0, Lapu-Lapu CFC, 6-1, and San Roque FC, 6-1.
In their final game, former Sacred Heart School-Ateneo de Cebu Syndey Kamichi made sure the team will come out with a bang as he scored a hat trick while former University of Sto. Tomas standout Joshua Genson was named Man of the Match for his overall play.
“It’s a decent finish for our comeback in the Aboitiz Cup division 2 and we are hoping for a better showing next year. We’d also like to thank our sponsors, Bulidrite Const. Chemical, Sgoons Tatto & Supply, International Elevator & Eqpt., Arki Source and partners for making our stint in this tournament possible,” said team manager Jhojo Partosa.
Aside from and Kamichi, the other members of the team are UAAP and Cesafi alums Zidane Alanquihan, Joshua Genson, Kiann Partosa, and Julian Cabatingan (University of Sto. Tomas), Nathan Bajarias and Leonel James Fernandez (University of San Carlos), and Neilson Villaver (Sacred Heart School-Ateneo de Cebu), and Lance Alkuino and Cyril Calo (Don Bosco Technical College) and Vincent Ace Duenas (team captain), Christopher Martinez, Oliver Abarquez, Aaron Choachuy, Fretz Remulta, Mikko Palacio, Leonel Fernandez, Zeus Amarga, Glenn Alonso, Daryll Chavez, Aldwin Pandaan, Mark Aguirre, Paolo Perez, and Mel Rubillos.
