THE Cebu Regional Football Association conducted its outreach program for the fourth straight year with the Cebu City Jail Male-Dormitory, this time holding a Philippine Football Federation D Coaching course training on Feb. 9 to 11 and FEb. 16 to 18.

The CRFA, which held futsal coaching course and a mini tournament at the jail facility in previous years, is hoping its outreach program will inspire other regional FAs to conduct similar events to show football is for all.
Rodney Orale, the CRFA president, thanked Jail Supt. Metz Milton Placencia or making the program possible.
“Almost four years of celebrating football inside the confined area of the Cebu City Jail Male Dormitory has shown us one powerful truth: the game has no walls. With the continued support of the Philippine Football Federation (PFF) and the Cebu Regional Football Association (CRFA), several futsal courses for referees and coaches have been conducted year after year. This would not be possible without the dedication of the men and women in uniform, under the leadership of JSupt. Metz Milton T. Placencia, TLPE, whose vision proves that reform begins with opportunity,” said Orale.

“May this initiative inspire other regional jail facilities to begin similar programs. Because football is more than a game—FOOTBALL IS FOR ALL, regardless of who you are or where you come from. To the PFF–CRFA instructors, thank you for sharing your knowledge and passion. What you’ve given is more than instruction—it is a gift that will shape lives beyond these walls. Let us continue to serve, believe, and build—one lesson, one match, one life at a time,” Orale continued.
