Moalboal shines anew in Dancesports showdown

DANCESPORTS Team Moalboal had another productive day as it won eight medals in the Dancesports Challenge 2024 on July 20, 2024 at SM Seaside City.

Lybern and Ethyl Libato shoned the brightest as they won first place in the Latin Senior High School Dou, while Danrave Layaguin and Khe Landiza got second place in he Standard Senior High School Youth (two dance) and third place in the three-dance event.

Dwayne Xyle Macua and Rhonne Angelyn Jhayle Daugdaug also added two second places finishes in the Latin Junior 2 Couple 2-dance and 3-dance events, while Liam Hyler Galang and Lance Nathaniel Sambilad had two third place finishes in the Latin Elementary Duo 2-dance and 3-dance events.

Lloyd Maveric Gocotano and Rhone Michaela Daugdaug also fished out a fourth place finish in the Latin Youth C Open.

The team, led by trainer Arvin Flores, has been training regularly for the past month under the free grassroots program of Mayor Inocentes G. Cabaron.
