DON Bosco Boys Home-Liloan booked a spot in the semifinal round after outlasting Sacred Heart School-Ateneo de Cebu, 2-1, in their Group B clash of the Domestic U16 qualifiers at the Dynamic Herb Football Stadium on Aug. 20, 2025.
DBBH now has four points along with idle Don Bosco Technical College A but still has a game against last placed Cebu Football Academy on Aug. 22. On the other hand, Ateneo is still winless in two outings and no longer has a chance to make it to the top two regardless of its result against CFC Academy on Sept. 1.
With DBBH expected to beat CFC, it could be DBBH vs. Abellana National School in the semis, and Group A No. 1 University of San Carlos-Basic Education Department against DBTC A in the other matchup.
The winner of the qualifiers will represent Central Visayas Regional Football Association in the regionals next month.
