Spencer Sven Lomadilla showed up with his golden boot to lead the Lapu-Lapu City Heroes to a quarterfinal spot in the U9 Division of the 2026 Cebu Copa Football Cup at the Dynamic Herb Sports Complex on June 20, 2026.
Playing with McJohnston Singh, Daren Himaya, Seth Daniel Gacrama, David Gad Inso, Samantha Sassik, Eyana Rhaine Brillo, Zeus Tampus, Zyren Ryle Ymbong, Michio Caelum Veloso, Caion Anjelo Mozo, and John Sebastien Gutladera, the team had two wins and two draws in the group stage to make it to the final 8 via wild card.
Lomadilla struck twice for the Heroes 2-1 win over Giuseppe, and had one in their 2-1 win over Sugbu Calidad White. He also scored a goal in their 1-1 draw with CFC Red, while the team’s other draw was a scoreless one with SB Lawod.
In the quarterfinal round, Lomadilla again hit the back of the net for a 1-1 draw with CFC and in the shootout, scored the lone goal for the Heroes as they fell fighting, 2-1.
