THE Cebu Regional Football Association gets a major boost with the arrival of Spanish coach Alex España, who will serve as the FA’s football director.
Espana is a UEFA pro license coach who was the first team coach of Gala FC in Macao China and also served as the academy director and coach of the U23 team of Oman in 2024.
“Coach Espana is a valuable addition of our FA and I’m confident our coaches and players can learn a lot from him,” said CRFA president Rodney Orale.
Espana will serve the CRFA for a year before moving on to another RFA. His arrival is part of the thrust of the Philippine Football Federation to improve the coaches education in the country.
