The Aboitiz Football Cup kicks off its 26th season with the Players 6 and 8 Divisions at the Dynamic Herb Sports Complex on July 25 and 26.

Action in the Players 6 and 8 Divisions kicks off at 7 a.m. before the formal opening ceremony unfolds, with Aboitiz Cup bigwigs expected to attend along with Cebu Regional Football Association officials headed y president Rodney Orale.
Now on its 26th edition, the Aboitiz Cup is Cebu’s biggest football tournament and one of the country’s longest running 11-a-side tournament. In 2024, it started its Champions League with Cebu teams dominating the event against teams from Aboitiz Cup editions in Luzon and Mindanao.
“Just a few months ago, the Aboitiz Football Cup Champions League was held at the Aboitiz Pitch in Lipa, Batangas, bringing together the champion teams from Cebu, Batangas, Tarlac, and Davao and once again, Cebu proved why we are one of the football capitals of the Philippines. Our very own Sacred Heart School-Ateneo de Cebu Magis Eagles captured both the Under-16 and Under-18 championships!” said Anton Perdices, the COO of AboitizPower Distribution Business Group.
The 26th Season of the Aboitiz Cup will also have competitions in the other age groups, including the premier men’s and women’s division, that will be spread out in the next few months.
“After the World Cup, what better way to bolster your love for the sport by supporting local football and that’s the Aboitiz Football Cup,” said Chad Songalia of the CRFA.
