In the Boys 18-Under division, which had five entries, Volleyball Friends, a club team, defeated Linao National High School of Ormoc to win the title, while the Bantayan Islanders defeated the hosts for third place.

“The goal of this tournament is for our volleyball teams to have exposure and play against few of the best teams in Cebu and the other neighboring regions,” said Ateneo de Cebu athletic director Jon Ralph Jiao Inot. “Since there was a lack of age group high school volleyball tournaments in Cebu, we decided to host one and continue our St. Ignatius Volleyball Cup since the feast of St. Ignatius of Loyola is just around the corner. This is already the 13th year of the tournament and over-all it was a successful event.”
