Footballer-sportsman to hold 200-km charity fun ride on April 15

Former football player turned sportsman and bike enthusiast Voltaire Montebon will hold a 200-kilometer charity ride on April 15, 2022 to help raise funds for the Don Bosco Boys Home.

The one-day bike ride, which will start at Axis, will pass through Minglanilla
Naga, Toldedo City, Asturias, Tuburan, Tabuelan, Borbon, Catmon, Carmen, Danao City, Compostela, Liloan and Mandaue before ending up at Axis again.

Montebon organized a similar activity in 2021 for the benefit of a cancer patient who unfortunately did not survive. Montebon, who skippered Hiroshi during its heydays in local football almost a decade ago, is giving back to football by chosing Don Bosco Boys Home as the beneficiary.

Montebon said he is still finalizing the registration fee for the event but interested members may contact him on Facebook.
