LA Horse FC bags two women’s crowns in final day of 5th Erco Cup

THE LA Horse FC took home two titles in the final day of the 5th ERCO Samareno Cup at the Dynamic Herb Football Stadium on July 27, 2025.

BOYS 16. The Cebu United Football Club won the boys 16 crown of the 5th Erco Samareno Cup.

LA Horse FC finished first in the group stage then defeated Lapu-Lapu City Heroes FC, 4-3, on penalties to win the Soccer Moms Division. It was a fitting finale for LA Horse at it won all four matches in the elimination round against LA Horse FC B (4-0), Warriors Moms (1-0), Bogo City FC (2-1), and the Lapu-Lapu City Warriors (2-1).

The team added the Women’s Open title later after outlasting the UP Ubers FC, 1-0, in the final. The two teams finished with identical seven points on a 2-1 record in the group stage, with the UP Ubers taking first place on goal difference.

In the Men’s Open division, the DB 18 Degrees routed Pink Heaven FC. 5-0 in the final after both teams upset the higher-ranked foes in the semifinals. JR Impas FC A and B topped Groups A and B respectively but lost to the two finalists in the semifinals.

In the Girls 14 division, the Razkals United outlasted Don Bosco Liloan FC, 3-2, to win the title, capping a brilliant run that saw the team dominating the group stage with 15 goals in three wins. In the semis, the Razkals defeated Cebu United, 1-0, while DB Liloan routed Sacred Heart School-Ateneo de Cebu.

Meanwhile, Erco FC added the 50-above title to its collection after beating Huna FC, 1-0, in the final. Erco FC finished second in Group A with nine points after a draw with group winner Iloilo City, then defeated Group B no. 1 KNF United, 1-0, in the semis.
