THE Lapu-Lapu Heroes bagged the silver medal in the Under 10 division of the Legends Cup at the Dynamic Herb Football Stadium on Aug. 16 and 17.
The team, manned by Asriel Josh Heredia, Niño Miguel Lumibao, Julian Clark Rustia, Mc Johnston Singh, Kyle Nakagawa, Devin Jasper Gildo, Mark Daniel Bac-laan, Zane Jaius Herbito, Macken Jabellana, and Spencer Sven Lomadilla, finished with an impressive four wins and one draw in the group without conceding a single goal.
They started the day with a 2-0 win over Sacred Heart School-Ateneo de Cebu before edging out Looc FC, 1-0, and scored their biggest win against City Central School, 5-0. After a scoreless draw with Cebu Football Club, they sealed their spot in the semis with a 1-0 win over Mahayahay.
In the semis, Devin Jasper Gildo scored the lone goal against Paref Springdale to arrange a final showdown with Makati Blue.
