Tadles sends Don Bosco Boys Home Liloan to U16 regional finals

JOSHUA Manuel Tadle showed nerves of steel as he converted the final spot kick to send Don Bosco Boys Home Liloan to the regional finals of the PFF U16 tournament after a shootout win over Don Bosco Technical College (DBTC) A in the championship match of the domestic qualifier on Sept. 8, 2025 at the Dynamic Herb Football Stadium.

NUMBER ONE TEAM. The members of the Don Bosco Boys Home Liloan U16 football squad celebrate after their narrow shootout win over Don Bosco Technical Center in the final.

The two teams played to a scoreless draw in the group stage and again had a 0-0 stalemate in the final, sending the match to an exciting shootout.

Jahred Rain Padriga and Flint Jurie Timbangan converted theirs before Khail Manu Villanueva missed and Serge Angelo Dingding scored to make it 2-1 for DBBH Liloan.

Alexander Rayo made it 2-2 for DBTC but William Maglasang restored the one goal lead.

In the fourth round, Castor Troy Inting missed, giving DBBH an opportunity to seal the match but Clark Justine Josol also bungled his spot kick, leaving DBTC with a lifeline.

Mathew Codee Caldoza made it 3-3 but that merely opened the way for Tadle to don the hero’s cap as he calmly made his spot kick for the 4-3 win over their fellow Bosconians.
