The 2023 Cebu Schools Athletic Foundation Inc. football season kicks off on Oct. 14, 2023 with high school rivals Don Bosco Technology Center and Sacred Heart School-Ateneo de Cebu taking on each other in the opening game at the University of San Carlos=Talamban Campus football stadium.
DBTC and SHS-Ateneo, the only two teams to have won the high school title, face off at 9 a.m., before defending college champion USC faces the University of Southern Philippines-Foundation at 1 p.m. The University of Cebu, a two-time champion, will take on the debuting University of the Philippines Cebu Campus in the final game at 3 p.m.
Tournament manager Francis Ramirez said the football competition will still follow the double-round robin format with the team that wins all its games earning the title automatically.
