CRFA holds donation drive for Typhoon Tino victims

THE Cebu Regional Football Association is holding a donation drive for the victims of Typhoon Tino, which devasted most of Central and Northern Cebu last week, leaving more than 100 dead in its wake.

CRFA REPRESENTATIVE. One of those severely affected by Typhoon Tino is Don Bosco Liloan, the CRFA’s representative to the U18 PFF Regional Tournament. The players lost most of their equipment and their school and practice venue was inundated by muddy waters.

“We are calling on all Philippine Football Federation (PFF) and Cebu regional Football Association (CRFA) members and stakeholders to join us in helping our friends and fellow players affected by Typhoon Tino across Cebu. we are accepting donations in cash and in kind to support those in need,” the CRFA posted in its official Facebook page.

Among those severely affected by the Typhoon is Don Bosco Liloan, which is CRFA’s representative to the Regional U18 tournament. Most of the players lost all their playing equipment and uniform and their practice venue was inundated by muddy waters.

Aside from the players, some officials and referees of the CRFA also had their homes damaged by the typhoon.

Those who want to give in kind donation may visit the CRFA Office at the second floor RCDC Building, Corner El Dorado Subdivision and those who want to make cash donations may deposit to the Central Visayas Football Association, Inc. BPI account with account number 1191-002314.
