The Central Visayas Football Association has tapped veteran coach Glen Ramos in leading its U19 squad in the regional competition that kicks off on April 18.
Ramos will be joined by assistant coach Jinggoy Roa, goalkeeping coach Gary Garciano, kit man Jojo Tapia, who will also serve as Garciano’s assistant, team manager Jhojo Partosa. CVFA and PT Nico Quinones. CVFA will face Eastern Visayas and Negros Oriental in the regional qualifiers, which CVFA is hoping to host.
CVFA will have a 34-man pool for the U19, formed through a tryout in Talisay on March 23 and 24 and in Bohol on April 27. Nine of the players are from Don Bosco Technological Center, six from Abellana National School, four from Sacred Heart School-Ateneo de Cebu, while the rest are from HNU-Bohol, Gaher Bohol, Pitos, National University, Cebu International School, University of San Jose-Recoletos, University of San Carlos, SPM, PUP-Bohol, Barili, Giuseppe, VDP-Bohol, San Beda and DBBH.
Those who made the squad are goalkeepers Zralph Legara, Mark Mayor, Jonathan Pacaldo and John Micahel Cadongo; defenders Uriel Villacarlos, Christian Carizon, John Daniel Betinol, Nathan Lingatong, Brylle Mangubat, Rhey Ann Bontilao, John Vicent Largado, Eugine Tilloer and Edgar Paredes III.
The midfielders are Richard Songalia, Joseph Garces, Carsten Pumareja, Grances Vercide, Mark LEster Zafra, Keaven Cergneux, Ludwig Badayos, Jancent Cuico, Bebong Lamparas,
Mathew Suico, Kyrell Bangot, Gianrenzo CUstado, Rodjen Tampus, Yoji Selman, Krizal Gutang and Wendel Soco.
The strikers are Prinz Golosing, Simon Delcampo, Stephen Soria, Paul Mapula, Rejie Tabuilog and Vince Caturza.
